Homemade Butter

One ingredient. A few minutes. Pure, creamy perfection. Homemade butter is proof that simple things can still feel special.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups heavy cream (or any size bottle)
Flaky Salt (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour heavy cream into stand mixer (you can also use hand mixer)
Whip until the cream thickens, separates, and forms butter (about 10ish minutes). Start low and increase power as you go.
Strain off the buttermilk and save for biscuits or pancakes 🥞
Rinse the butter in ice cold water bath and knead gently to remove any extra liquid until water is clear
Add a pinch of salt or any other herbs you like and that’s it! Fresh, homemade butter.
